Loneliness

Paula sat down in one the chairs around the table, putting the grilled cheese she just made for herself in one of the plates and looking sorrowfully to it. There's fifteen others in the house, and yet, she feels kinda lonely.

Aaliyah, holding her water bottle walks into the kitchen. She sits down in one of the stools facing the counter, she notices Paula and says "Oh hey Paula, didn't see you there."

She hold up the hate she had for Aaliyah for a moment, fortunately for both of them, it wasn't as much of a hate but more like a annoyance. She didn't really do the valley girl act, though. "Hello, Aaliyah. I'm having a meal."

Aaliyah looks at the grilled cheese in Paula's hand, "Cool, sandwiches are the best."

She looks around awkwardly as this is basically the first conversation she's had with Paula...ever.

"Gobi taught me how to make them." She was flattered, yes, she was a professional sandwicher now. Praise. "Perhaps, want one?"

She put her dislike away for this moment only.

She smiled, "Of course, thanks for the offer."

She ate silently, not even glancing at the girl. As much as she tried to deny it, she was kinda upset, and fortunately she could allow herself to feel this way, since the tide of the game is low. She don't think she want to talk to Aaliyah, but neither wants to send her away. So she just lives the moment.

Aaliyah eats awkwardly, the silence was deafening. She hoped someone else would join them to break the silence.

Donovan comes in and does a flip "WOO!" he then sees the awkwardness and grins "It's not healthy to sit in silence, let's brighten up and make some tasty drinks or something!"

Aaliyah giggles, she is glad that she's not the only person who felt awkward in this silence. "Yesss, let's get lit."

"I guess. I won't mind." She agrees, Donovan was already a big improvement from
Aaliyah, so it was easier to interact with him.

Donovan then tilts his hip and puts a finger to his chin "Y'all like strawberry shortcake?I make a wicked drink that tastes like it"

Donovan smiles "It can taste good without alcohol!" He then sees her look upset "you okay Paula?" He asks as he starts mixing the drink together

"I am... just a tad..." She sighs, looking to the side slightly. "I didn't want Sam to go, to be fair. I'm just a bit upset about this, but I rather don't make this thoughts last. I really miss her."

Donovan frowns while pouring the drink into three cups "Yeah she was a sweetheart, it stinks. But she wouldn't want us to he upset and moping! She'd want everyone to fight on!"

"Yeah, that's it." She agrees, although keeping her bored tone and without really raising her face to look at him. "But, let's be real, we must feel the sadness once, at least to mourn and make acceptation easier. I guess it's my time to be sad."

"I actually do encourage people to allow themselves to be sad, it helps in making them more natural and less forced."

Wanda’s sense of bad timing was impeccable as always. Just as Paula was explaining how much she missed Sam, the person who Wanda had personally gotten eliminated, the wacky engineer walked right on in. The grilled cheese scent had wafted through the house and drew her like a moth to LAMP. She didn’t seem to notice the atmosphere was so grim though. Wandajust wandered over to the fridge, grabbed a carrot, and started munching. “Eeeeeeh what’s up, Doc?” She winked in the general direction of her audience.

Donovan looks at Paula for a few seconds then responds "Yeah, you're right. I am sorry if it seemed like I was saying you can't be sad." he then looks over at Wanda and holds the blender towards her "Making some drinks, you want some?"
