Week 3 - Power of Protection Competition

Subject: Week 3 - Power of Protection Competition Mon Jul 29, 2019 5:35 pm

"Hello, HouseGuests!" Val's voice booms over the intercom. "Welcome to your first Power of Protection competition of the season! Before we begin, we need to find out which PAIR will be playing alongside Kaden & Rico and Bertrand & Nate in this competition. In front of you there is a bowl with names of the other HouseGuests, the HA will pick one name to see which pair will be playing with them."

Kaden reaches into the bowl and selects... FIFI.

"Fifi & Rita! You will be joining Kaden, Rico, Bertrand and Nate in this competition. The rest of you, please take a spot in the peanut gallery!"

Val waits for the HouseGuests to get settled and then continues.

“This challenge is called A Hand Out, and here's how it works: Each of you will be balancing on a narrow perch while holding a pole that's connected to a bucket of slop. If at any point you step or fall off your perch, raise your pole too high or drop it too low, the bucket will spill and you'll be eliminated from the competition. The last person standing will be the winner of the POP! Understood? Great! Let's begin."

Hey guys! Welcome to the first challenge. For story purposes, your characters will be doing a challenge similar to this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJEmboykQrs&t= So, if you're going to roleplay them doing the challenge, that's what they'll be doing!

Once you are satisfied with your score, please send a screenshot to your CONFESSIONAL on DISCORD! You are only allowed to send in ONE screenshot. Even if you get a better score after and send us a screenshot after your first screenshot, it will not be counted. And if you do not send a screenshot in by 5:00PM EST it will not be counted.

Rico stands on his perch, raring and ready to go.

He does a silent prayer.

"Oh dear Bigfoot... please give me the strength to win... I believe in you, now it's your turn to believe in me..." He thought to himself.

He stares straight ahead and waits for the games to begin...

Bertrand was a bit worrisome. This challenge had required endurance and he didn’t know if he could handle this. Nevertheless, he focused on balanced the pole in his hand as he stood on the perch. This determined his safety for the week.

“I can do this... maybe”, he whispered to himself.

After a few hours of competition, only one HouseGuest remains. "Congratulations BERTRAND! You are the winner of the POP!"

Rico nearly passes out before he steps off. He walks forward to avoid the slop.

He claps for Bertrand. "Woo-hoo! Great job, Bertrand!" He exclaims. He lies down onto the ground swiftly.

He... he did it. He... won. He somehow managed to hold the pole the longest. This... was nice. So nice. Guess things were starting look up after all. He made a genuine big smile.

“Thank you, Rico. This... is awesome.”
