Week 5 - Power of Protection Competition

"Hello, HouseGuests!" Val's voice booms over the intercom. "Welcome to this weeks Power of Protection competition! Before we begin, we need to find out who will be playing alongside Sergio, Andre, Carmen and Aurora in this competition. In front of you there is a bowl with names of the other HouseGuests, the HAs will each pick one name to see who will be playing with them."

Sergio and Andre each reach into the bowl at their turn and select... GOBI and PEACHES.

"Gobi and Peaches! You will be joining Sergio, Andre, Carmen and Aurora in this competition. The rest of you, please take a spot in the peanut gallery! Oh and one more thing: should the Power of Protection be used on one of the nominees this week, the replacement will be made by whichever House Ambassador does better in the competition."

Val waits for the HouseGuests to get settled and then continues.

"It may be summer time now, but in preparation for winter your job is to store 250 nuts to win the Power of Protection! You'll achieve this by rolling your acorn up one side then running to the other side and catching it. Everytime your acorn passes over the top, you earn yourself one nut for winter. But beware! If your acorn hits the ground, your score goes back to zero and you'll have to start over. The first squirrel to reach 250 nuts will win 75 Val Chips and win the Power of Protection! Who's ready to play Getting Nutty?" The HouseGuests clap.

Hey guys! Welcome to the POP challenge. For story purposes, your characters will be doing a challenge similar to this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_ImttF86rM So, if you're going to roleplay them doing the challenge, that's what they'll be doing!

As for what you guys will ACTUALLY be doing is playing Woody Block Puzzle! Here's a link: http://woodblockpuzzle.com/onlinegame/ You can also play this on Safari/Web Browser apps on your phone or there's an app version as well. You will have until 10:00PM EST tomorrow to complete the challenge!

Once you are satisfied with your score, please send a screenshot to your CONFESSIONAL on DISCORD! You are only allowed to send in ONE screenshot. Even if you get a better score after and send us a screenshot after your first screenshot, it will not be counted. And if you do not send a screenshot in by 10:00PM EST it will not be counted.

Also, this is an ENDURANCE challenge. So Endurance players will get +10 bonus points to their final score, while Strength players get +5 points, Skill gets +3 points and Mental gets +1 point.

After about an hour of running back and forth, it's clear that the top two of the competition are Aurora and Andre, with Gobi trailing behind in third.

"Looks like Aurora is in the lead with 240 nuts, but Andre is right behind at 237!" She looks over at the other scores. "Gobi is in third with 200, while Sergio, Carmen and Peaches trail behind at 140! Looks like dropping those acorns can cost someone the game!"

A few more minutes pass and Andre and Aurora are neck-and-neck at 245 nuts each! "WOW! This is a TIGHT race! Who will it be, Aurora or Andre--" Before she can continue, a loud THUD is heard! The camera pans and sees that Aurora has tripped in the competition, and dropped her acorn. "Woah... that's rough. Aurora has dropped her acorn and must start over from the beginning! This gives Andre the opening he needs to win!"

A few more moments pass and Andre successfully reaches 250 nuts! "And there we have it! Congratulations ANDRE! You have won the Power of Protection and 75 Val Chips!"
