Val appears on the TV Monitor and greets the HouseGuests. "Hello, HouseGuests. I hope you've had a chance to get to know your partner and get used to the core craziness of the game. Not really, though. I actually hope for constant confusion and paranoia. " She laughs evilly and then turns to the nominees. "Chen and Rico. The time has now come for you to make your case and explain to your fellow housemates why you should stay.

One by one, all of you will head to the Diary Room and say who you want to EVICT (vote out). Devika, as House Ambassador you will only vote in the case of a tie."

Hey guys! So this voting ceremony is open until 7:00PM EST.

When voting to evict, send me your choice in your CONFESSIONAL ON DISCORD please. Do not vote in your Diary Room here in the forum. Thanks and if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Chen stood up. "Friends, enemies, I want you all to understand that this house for the past two days has been extremely rough on me. Because of this, I would like it if you all would vote for me to be evicted. I just think it'd be beneficial for most, if not every person in the house." He sat down.

Rico sat there in shock. He stood up for a moment.

"I really don't gotta campaign anymore, but uh... I think it'd be pretty cool if you voted Chen out... I'd greatly appreciate it!" He smiles as he sat down. He looks to Chen, feeling kind of bad. Rico was the reason he was in this mess... but it's all for the benefit of his game. "Godspeed, dude." He said to him. He waits anxiously.

Once all of the votes are in, Val returns back on the screen in the living room. She eyes each and every contestant seriously. "HouseGuests… the votes are in. By a vote of 10 to 2…

"Thank you." He said as he got up from the chair. The two votes against Rico, he assumed, were from Nigel and Fifi. But now that he was evicted, he didn't have to worry about all that. Just focus on fixing relationships.

Rico grinned widely. Thank goodness that this plan didn’t blow up in his face.

“Now, I’m not shocked I got some votes, but no hard feelings, guys! I understand, some of you guys really like Chen and think he did nothing wrong. I get that. I still appreciate you guys and hope I can fix any wrong that I may have caused for you to vote me.” He smiles.

He looks over to Kaden. “...I’m gonna assume we’re partners now? How awesome.” He smiled again his way.

Bertrand had nodded after hearing the verdict. He truly would question his sanity if someone who had asked to be evicted had stayed over someone who clearly wants to play the game. Rico may be a physical threat in the making, but it wouldn’t be fair if he had to risk his game being over completely if Chen got to stay.

Then again, was he the person to judge someone’s will to leave the house?
