Devika nearly fell into the pool out of shaking once Mark began to play. She was shaking a little, but soon took a deep breath once she realized it was just Mark’s performance.

For a nice guy Mark was terrifying in person. You never knew when he’s launch her into panic.

Fifi was taken aback once again by Mark's actions. Homeboy was IMPULSIVE AS HELL. However, this was a party and she wasn't going to let her good vibes get ruined. She shuffled over to the pool and took a dip, easing her body in slowly. "Ooooo, now that's better!" She chuckles, watching everyone conversate.

Chen was having none of this. He left the pool, hands still over ears, and walked back into the house. “Have fun everyone, tell me when Mark has finished!” Chen semi-yelled, before going upstairs to see if his ears were bleeding or not.

Mark finished his song with one last good scream. He was sweating and breathing heavy when he finished. He grabbed a near by camera and screamed into it. "MAD MELOOONNSS!! BUY OUR MERCH!!!" And with that he turned the music back to what it was previously on. "Thanks for indulging me guys! PEACE!" He fell backwards into the pool.

Devika, realizing how surrounded she was felt a bit awkward. She was never a social person before this (clearly), so having multiple conversations felt weird. Seeing Fifi in the pool, Devika offered a bit of a wave. She liked Fifi a lot, and she looked after today. It was nice seeing a good friend.

... Until Mark fell backwards into the pool, unintentionally knocking Devika into the water with him.

"Uh huh," Naz replied, her attention more on Mark than anything else. She vaguely registered the lilting accent behind her that she knew belonged to Jamie. "He's...talented. I think. This genre ain't my speed or nothin so I don't know much about it, but he's doing what he loves so it's all chill, y'know?

Seeing that Mark was about to fall into the pool, Naz faced away to avoid getting splashed and came face to face with Jamie.

And that too meant remembering what Jamie was wearing just beneath the water. She gave her an earnest smile and a very slightly bitten lip as she looked into Naz's face, deciding to approach this as casually as she could. JC and Naz weren't the same people, same approach might not work on them.

"Don't reckon we've got a chance to meet proper. Yer Naz, right?" She asked kindly, though the greeting was cut off with Mark's splash down. Her hair now dripping wet, Jamie would giggle and whip it around a few times to sling the water around a bit, but mostly let it drip down her face.

Kaden looks at Jamie for a while but then stops when he sees her talking with JC. Yeah the guy is a whore but he still respects other guy's girls. He then sees Devika fall in and goes under water to save her. He then gets her back to the surface "You better be careful there princess, can't be dying on the teley."

Mark felt something bump him when he fell back into the water. When he came up, he looked next to see him to see Devika had fallen in the water. He grabbed her from under her arms and pulled her out of the water. "I seem to have a nasty habit of causing you misfortune!" He laughed.

As Devika fell into the deep, dark blue, she felt not one, but two hands reach out and pull her under the water and return her to the side. She gasped for air, as she took off and cleaned her glasses. She felt grateful, of course. It was Mark and Kaden. They were nice.

Two incredibly attractive guys just pulled her out of the pool and they were just... staring at her.

Wow.

Oh my god, stop looking.

”Y-YEAH!” Devika nearly yelled, stammering, beet red. She was terrible at this, “Mhm. Yep. It’s fine. I-I, um, I understand. Thank you. So much. Yep.

The blush that wouldn’t go away.

"Sure am," Naz replied. Don't look down, don't look anywhere but her eyes. Don't be creepy. You're better than that. Jesus, this is the most active internal monologue I've had in a while.

"And you're Jamie, yeah? Nice to meet you properly too, even if it's under uh...wet...circumstances." Brilliant work, Narinder. That's not weird at all.

Suddenly more self conscious than she had been in a while, Naz felt the immense compulsion to play with her hair. "But yeah. Hey. What's shakin'?"

Kaden smirks at Devika "Glad you're okay. Do you need a drink or something to help cool down from almost drowning? You're redder than a baboon's ass. It's suits you though"

J.C. decided to take a break from the socializing to make sure things weren’t a complete mess around the pool. He noticed Kaden and Mark both rescuing Devika which was something. Chen also left. Guess the party wasn’t really his scene going on. Jaime and Naz seem to be getting along alright. Couldn’t help but remember that strange conversation he had with Naz that morning about feet.

Wet was certainly one word for it. Jamie couldn't help but blush a little herself as she picked up on some nervous ticks from Naz. Had to be perceptive in what she did, and seeing people do that around her made her feel really, really good and gave her a lot more hope about her future on stage and on the camera. For now though, she had to focus on the here, and the here was a really cute lookin' girl.

"Ahhh, I'll say, bet yer as wet as I am," she said with a shrug, looking at the now vacant stage "wonderin if I should get up there and show y'all what a real hootenanny looks like...Ahh but I'd have to wait to dry off n' such, prolly ain't worth it. Not when talkin with all y'alls so much fun."

Mark squinted his eyes at Kaden. "Did you just tell her her face looks like a butt??" He burst out laughing and wiped a tear from his eye. "I-I'm sorry Dev, you have a very nice face! That was just the cheesiest pick up line I've ever heard!" He giggled some more.

He couldn't help but over hear Jamie and Naz's 'flirting'. He darted his eyes between the two of them and raised his eyebrows up and down at Narinder with a stupid grin on his face.

Upon hearing Mark’s realization, Devika paused. Beet red.

She couldn’t help but laugh.

This wasn’t just one of her normal, quiet giggles, but a warm, vibrant laugh of hers.

This man she was so afraid of as this... deviant, compared her face to an ass.

Kaden raises an eyebrows and looks over at Mark "Nah, I was just saying that her face was super red, twas a joke." he gets up and gets a drink for Devika then brings it back "Hope this drink is okay beautiful"

Naz's schedule had been busy for far too long to let her be in "the game", as it were, but she remembered enough from her significantly wilder college days that she knew a blatant overture when she saw one. Now the question was about what she was going to do with it. Jamie had been schmoozing JC just minutes ago, and now here she was putting the same moves on her, even if it was a little less overt.

Naz didn't really like serial flirts, but it had been months on end since she'd gotten even the mildest action, and Jamie really was an eleven.

She caught Mark's eyebrow bounce and sighed internally in resignation. With her metalhead buddy egging her on, how could she say no?

"Glad you're having fun, dude," Naz began, tossing her head. 'You could dry off if you want but...I think everyone would prefer it if you stuck around. Myself very much included."

Should I wink?

Fuck it.

More than pleased with herself after not only winning the challenge, but the very first challenge of the season, Rita struts confidently towards the pool, where she had noticed the others gathering.

"Hey friends! Here comes your lady of the hour," She laughs. "What. A. Challenge. I knew yoga would be a valuable time investment! I'm so glad I was talked into it. After a while hanging up there, it was like I had entered a whole new state of mind! I've never felt these feelings before... I think I've unlocked some... inner peace." She mouths a 'wow' quietly to herself.

"So... how are we all?"

Devika kept laughing (as she waved to Rita, oblivious of her fear of her for a moment) only to realize... Kaden... hadn’t stopped hitting on her? Princess? Beautiful?

No guy has ever said those things.

... It’s hard, feeling... less? Devika Khatri last dated a boy in her senior year of high school, when she was fourteen. Henry Buffet. He caught her teeth in his head brace trying to french kiss her at Pron.

This was a game. A game where people have to deceive.

... It was nice, though. Feeling pretty. How could she say no?

Jamie would smirk inwardly at the wink. Gooooood, she was getting somewhere! Now all she had to do was make sure neither Naz or JC caught wind of her slightly two timing nature, or she cook up some sort of sympathetic excuse as to why she was doing this, which she put part of her mind to work on that instant.

"Alrighty, guess I'll get myself on the hitchin post and stay around a spell." Jamie remarked, swimming past Naz to park herself on the near wall, her leg gently brushing past Naz's as she moved around her. "Ya got a real nice swimsuit on, Naz," she said perkily, laying it on just a hint thicker with her accent "it's colorful and it's got a good message. Wish I could see stuff like it more often."

And then out came the lady of the hour. Oh dear lord Rita would die if she saw what Jamie was wearing, which kinda made her wanna crawl out of the water more, but she'd let the peace sit for now. "Congrats on the win, Rita! Don't guess I gave it to ya proper back there, so I'll give it to ya now!" She said, though she couldn't help but feel some twinge of resentment towards the mother of three as she made her way to the poolside. They were ones she pushed down, however, not wanting to get on the bad side of a potentially powerful person.

Mark grinned at Dev, happy to see some raw laughter come from her and not the usual reserved giggle. He cocked a brow at Kaden's flirting, but Dev didn't seem to mind, so he let it be. *Man, everyone's get'n all flirty here.* He scratched his head as he though to himself. He shrugged and floated on his back.

"Besides, it definitely comes in handy when there's cute girls around, y'know what I'm saying?"

As Naz continued her conversation, she noticed Kaden flirting with Devika out of the corner of her eye. Catching Mark's eye for a second, she mouthed, "What's that about?"

Devika's a sweetie, and Kaden's the epitome of bad vibes. I don't trust that...

Curious to see what all the ruckus as he was walking in the house, Bertrand took a peek outside and...

Oh. Great. Wonderful. A pool party. He shockingly had popular friends in high school and they invited him to parties all the time. But while all the popular kids were outside relaxing and talking amongst each other in the pool, he would spend time playing chess with the other nerds.

Well, this is a different pool party. One that he admittedly needed to interact with others since a huge crash prize is on the line. He was going to regret this later, but he took off his glasses, shirt and T-shirt, and shorts, which conveniently had trunks underneath, and placed them on the nearby washing machine. "Reminder to forgive me... never", he muttered.

Walking towards the pool with the partying houseguests, he had asked: "Hey, do you guys mind if I come i-AAAAUGHHHH!!!"

Those were the words he uttered before he slipped and did an accidental flip in the pool.
