For the most part, Jamie had been laying low ever since it was confirmed she was immune for this round. She hadn't even talked to Naz or JC that much, only passing conversations that would keep their infatuation in her alive. She wasn't sure what to do with them yet: love triangles were good drama, and good screen time of course, but the audience, her people, might appreciate an actual nuanced discussion between adults about one after so many people screaming and fighting about them on TV. Make it more into a 'Good Place' love triangle than an 'Archie' one. Then there was the option of going 'menagie e trios' with them, but she kind of doubted they'd both be down.

Ah, she'd figure it out later. Right now she just needed to not stir the pot ahead of the next challenge, and she should be able to coast through that round and all the early ones too. Sighing contently, she tipped her hat over her eyes, intending to take a quick nap. Life was good.

Haleigh peeps her head from next door and see's, Jamie.

Haleigh examines the houseguest a little bit more before approaching. A cowgirl hat, plaid, and jeans?! Could this be someone she admires to be? she walks inside the room and waves to Jamie. "hi!" she says with a smile across her face. "I mean, Howdie partner!"

Oh what the fresh hell that accent sounded terrible. Tipping her hat up she saw...Damn, what was her name? Lee? Jenny? Ended in an 'ee' sound, she knew that much.

"Howdy," she said, deciding to just avoid the name thing altogether "what can I do ya fer?"

Haleigh stares at Jamie "You're a cowgirl... right?" Haleigh asks. She couldn't help but skip the small talk, she was desperate to ask! She crossed her fingers hoping she not just a Diary farmer.

'Does a turd stink?' was what Jamie wanted to say, just for a laugh. But she could see an opportunity to build another relationship, and it wasn't one she wanted to jeopardize for anything. A byproduct of her laying low had been her lack of socializing since the ticket to heaven challenge ended, she probably needed to bulk back up on that.

"Yessum, I am. What of it?" She asked, a playful smile crossing her face as she heard the curious tone in her voice.

"WOOOW!" she gazes into Jamies eyes. "You must have a bunch of horses at home right???" she eagerly asks Jamie the important question.

Jamie had yet to really specify what kind of animal her 'family farm' specialized in. She preferred to keep it vague and flexible for situations exactly like this one. "Why yes I do, city girl. Ya like horses?" She asked, keeping her tone as playful as possible to try not to offend.

"That's so amazing!!" she preaches Jamie "You must ride so many horses! From Abaco Barb's all the way to Zemaituka's" she names the first and last horse from A-Z order.

Hm. That was concerning. Jamie had done her research on horses, Clydesdales, Thoroughbreds, and a few of the more obscure ones to make her more authentic sounding, but she had never even heard of the two that just came out of her mouth.

"Shoot, you must really like horses," Jamie remarked with a quirked brow "you a rodeo girl or somethin?"

"No, but I would like to!" She replies to Jamie "How many horses do you own! I learned that they eat a lot! More than what a human can eat." she taps her chin "Which explains the saying of, I can eat a whole horse." does it?
