Most Important Meal of the Day (Private RP w/ Devika)

J.C. woke up bright an early this morning so he could make sure he had the kitchen to himself to make himself some breakfast. He wasn’t a grand master in the kitchen but he’d learn a couple thing from his mom growing up. His favorite thing to cook was breakfast. Who doesn’t like breakfast? J.C. cracked a few eggs and whisked them in a bowl until they were ready for cooking. He liked his eggs scrambled. He also started to cook some bacon on the side cause no eggs are complete without bacon. Great smells we’re coming from the kitchen.

J.C. smiled when he heard Devika. He knew she’d been through a lot these past couple of days and she probably needed some good memories from this competition. Besides, cooking is always more fun when there’s company.

“Not at all. I’d love the company. Sorry if I’m hogging up the stove. Didn’t expect anyone to be up at this time.”

“Scrambled. I like to add a little bit of butter to the bottom of the pan when it’s first heating up so the eggs come out a little fluffier.” Once finished with the eggs, he placed them on a plate and sprinkled a little bit of salt and pepper for flavor.

“Wow. That’s pretty smart. I’ll make sure to try that recipe when I get home.”

“Glad I could be influential to a football star,” Devika smiled, before pausing, “That was a joke.

J.C. laughs. “Nah, don’t worry! That was a good one!” He flips the bacon over in the pan as it cooks.
