However, when it came to deciding who was going to talk to Tobias about nominations, Jane's name had come up and she had kind of... offered to go in her place. Jane had a thing for just about every guy in the house at this point, troglodyte being no exception, and he seemed to be into her too. This nomination seemed like a good chance to not only gain a new ally, but also scope out the little nerd.

So, Harriet knocked on the door.

Tobias opened the door and posed sexily against the door hinge. He looked seductively at Harriet.

Well what do you know, Tobi? Only been HA for a few hours and you've already got the ladies coming to your door.

"What's good, my dear? Here to really show me which of the twinnies is a better kisser?" he joked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"It's me." She pushed past him and into the room, going to sit down on the bed. "But,
I'm not here for that. I've seen what you're packing and it's..." She was going to make some witty comment about being allergic to shrimp, but realized she needed to save her ass not make things worse.
"... Intimidating. That's all Jane's problem."

Tobias winked when Harriet pushed past him and reinforced herself as the better kisser, but she didn't notice...or care. He'll pretend she just didn't notice.

He slid onto the bed rapid-fast after Harriet sat down, laying on the bed across from her in a super-cas-yet-welcoming way. He thought, go on, go on... as she hesitated to describe his junk. Clearly, homegirl was awestruck by my looks and was fighting hard to keep her composure. I feel you, girl, do what you gotta do.

Then, he got the answer he was hoping for.

Intimidating? SCORE. That's going in the "Journal of Nice Things Said About Me" later.

"Hay-Hay I am ALWAYS down to talk game. Wachu thinkin' bout girlie?"

“First of all, I’m thinking that you should not call me Hay-Hay… But, I’ve got to admit that I’m worried about the nominations this week.” Tobias seemed like the type to respond to the ‘wilting flower’ act, but he was so cringy that she couldn’t help snapping at him a bit. Probably wouldn’t be able to pull off ANY sort of act at this point. “Jane and I winning that first challenge really put a target on our backs… You’ll have our backs, won’t you?”

Tobias quickly sit up when she snapped at him. "Oh."

He scrunched up his face a bit, insulted that she wouldn't let him call her an absolutely adorable pet name.

"Janey-Jane is my homegirl, but you I ain't so sure about. What's in it for me?"

You can kinda guess what he was hoping for.

He scratched his very minuscule chin hair thoughtfully. That sounded great, but he wanted a bit more security.

“I’m not sending you home any time soon!” She laughed through the cringe. “You actually killed it in this challenge, so I’d be crazy to wanna get rid of you… But I DO want to know who you’re going to send home, if not us.”

Tobias thought for a sec. I dunno how much of a promise that sounded. But you know what? She stroked his ego —
enough to make him completely forget about his susp for the time being.

"Thanks girl, you know I try." He winked and pointed a finger gun at her. A'ight, I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine."

He laid back and looked up at the ceiling, kicking one foot up on his knee.

"Ain't sure who I'll nominate 100 per. I can't wait to get my boi Hassan out ASAP tho."

Seems nice? Oh boy, this girl had no idea the kind of resentment Tobias had toward his brother.

"Nice? That's the problem. He thinks he's so great," he said, waving his hands around for emphasis. "He can still fly by the competition without even trying! That boi needs to learn he isn't tough shit, that Tobi here has what it takes."

Always failed to live up to his bro. The only phone numbers I got were from ladies askin' me to pass it on to him. His face softened, realizing he got WAY too serious then.

What was this feeling? This heavy feeling in Harriet’s chest? Was it…Pity? She VERY LIGHTLY patted his knee and smiled a bit. “Well, Hassan’s not that cute anyway. You’ll get your girl and move out sooner or later.”

Then she snapped back into form. Eew. Emotional shit. “But, back on the subject of nominations: you should totally throw your brother up. If he’s actually screwing with you, get rid of that dead weight. Maybe Nico too… I mean, he’s a bad boy. If you wanna get a girl, gotta get rid of the bad boys.”
