Need to Talk (Private w/ Nisha & Deressa)

Nisha walks up the steps slowly, holding on to the railings with both hands. She eventually reaches the HA door and knocks lightly. "Deressa, are you there?"

Nisha comes in and takes a seat under the monitor. "Congrats on winning that comp, girl! You had everybody surprised with that aim of yours." She giggles a bit.

Nisha raises her brows at her statement. "Oh wow, either way girl, you won HA this week and I couldn't be more proud of you!" She readjusted her position as she leaned back on the chair, placing her hands on her lap. "Recently, I've really been thinking about our last conversation up here.

Deressa wrote:

"I know this might sound too intruding or whatevs...but would it be alright if I joined your alliance? I mean, I am sure you must have one by now...and I've been pretty much on my own, so you can trust me. I promise I won't pull any funny business. And only if it's alright with the other members, of course."

Nisha wrote:

"I'll see what I can do, but I do feel like I can trust you Deressa."

"When we spoke last week, I told you that I would see what I could do about you joining my alliance. However, over the course of this week, it completely flew out of the window. With Isaiah being expelled, Ti'Shaun's birthday, the double eviction, and my injury, it must've been the last thing on my mind. And honestly, it was only when I saw you win HA that I recalled our conversation... It really sucks, because I love you as a person Deressa, and really want to work with you. Even though I haven't spoken to them yet, I still mean what I said. I was under a lot of stress at the time so I apologize that I wasn't able to make time to tell them."

Nisha returns the hug, glad that Deressa was able to understand her situation. "Thanks for understanding and I do hope we can." She laughs nervously as Deressa finishes speaking. It almost seemed as if she were not interested anymore, that she'd already formed some kind of alliance of her own. She thought back to her win:

Deressa was beyond giddy at how everyone started congratulating her.
"Thanks so much, cuties! As the new HA I announce that everyone is safe! No evictions!" She spinned like a ballerina pretending to throw glitter at the other contestants for a few seconds.
"Jaykay, that wouldn't be fun! Y'all better fetch me some smoothies to get on my good side!" She laughed, heading over to Marlee. The two exchange a hug.

Nisha began to wonder whether it would be in her favor to ask, but remained silent on the matter. It would be dangerous to name her alliance members if Deressa wasn't on her own at this point. "Well, I just wanted to come and let you know what I was thinking." She hugs her before getting up and exiting the room.
